The ask for this project was to transform a former pied-à-terre industrial loft in a Montreal heritage building into a comfortable home for a family. This 3,000 sq. ft. penthouse has a muted palette of luxurious materials - flat cut walnut, bookmatched "invisible grey" marble, black metal, light grey lacquer and pewter calf's leather - it was curated to enhance the existing character of the loft. Custom mill work, painted steel doors, lighting and furniture were designed to be clean, minimal and coherent throughout the living areas. A collection of contemporary Canadian art acts as the focal point of each space.
